Episode 112: Nobility of Character
This week’s episode includes the following segments: Chinwaggin’, The Front Porch, Ever-expanding Skill Set, And Sew Forth. In this episode, I announce the prize winners of patterns by Ysolda Teague and Lori Versaci. There’s a report about the String Theory club, and the first of a month’s recipes featuring lemons. Plus, a few more pieces have been added to the handmade wardrobe. The thistle is the inspiration for a knitted scarf and a fabric print. Strong, sturdy, and noble, the thistle has been the national emblem of Scotland since the reign of Alexander III.

thanks so much for linking to my class at Peters Valley this summer! i’m a few episodes behind but hope to catch up in the studio today. i’ve been loving listening to your journey toward a handmade wardrobe.
the link you used above is to my blog post from 2011 when i taught there last time. and unfortunately, PV has also changed their URL since then so even the link in that post is broken! and of course the dates are wrong. here’s the updated one:
