Episode 154

cover154

This episode contains a personal narrative about my participation in the DC Women’s March on January 21st. Thank you to everyone who marched or supported the march through their words and actions. I continue to participate in the Women’s March Movement, which is advocating for everyone to take 10 actions in the first 100 days of the new administration.  Other helpful resources for activism are the Take Action page of the ACLU website and 5calls.org, which provides action plans, contact info and scripts when you enter your US zip code. To find your elected officals, go to Common Cause.

And here we are on the Mall. You can see the Capitol in the background. Don't we have the most fabulous pussyhats? It was great to see the sea of pink in photographs and footage following the event.

One of my favorite signs on our approach to the rally.

I had 500 postcards printed upon returning from the march. I have mailed a lot to knitter friends, but still have about 100 to distribute. If you need some, let me know!
